The Lake Boga Air Show is something I have been meaning to get to for years. Even when I lived up that way, and later when I didn't (but was still traveling up there nearly every weekend trying to impress my now wife), I never did.
Anyway this year was the year. It was a 3 generation boys day out. My Father, my son and I spent the day sitting on the foreshore of the lake and watched these amazing pilots do their stuff in vintage war planes.
Lake Boga is a huge body of water which makes a great backdrop to this sort of thing with no problem getting a decent view.
It was a great day out, even managed a decent coffee at the local cafe. The three of us will definitely be back, but maybe next time with a bigger lens.
